It is the clients right and responsibility to participate in treatment planning. The number of therapy sessions can depend on the complexity of the issues and the amount of effort and time needed to implement the plan. Psychological Testing is available.

Additional Services

Post Abortion Counseling – Project Rachel is a service offered to anyone who may be suffering from the aftermath of an abortion. Project Rachel offers healing assistance to those touched by abortion to grieve, recover and reconcile from the consequences of an abortion experience.

Annulment Counseling – This counseling service gives people an opportunity to reflect on their lives and integrate their learning from a previous marriage. Counseling assists people in the process of evaluation and healing from a broken marriage.

Support Groups
A variety of groups are offered at various times throughout the year. Check with the service office location for availability of a group near you.

Service Office Locations
Counseling services are provided at all our locations.

Hours
Call the service location closest to you for a complete listing of hours.

Appointments
Catholic Charities will make every effort to schedule the appointment as quickly as possible. Catholic Charities charges a fee for failed appointments. Cancellations of less than 24 hours are strongly discouraged.

Sliding Fees
Catholic Charities is committed to providing caring and professional services for a fee based on ability to pay. In doing this we consider family size and total family income in assessing fees. Funding from the United Way, other donated dollars and fees paid by clients support the counseling services.

Insurance
Some health plans will cover counseling if there is a mental health diagnosis. As a service Catholic Charities will bill insurance companies and other third party payers but cannot guarantee such benefits or the amount covered. We are providers in a number of Employee Assistance Programs.

Staff Credentials
Licensed Master level therapists include social workers, psychologists and clinical counselors.
